Container Cranes of Baltkran on terminals of Far East | |||||

A container crane of Baltkran will ensure reliable handling of containers on intermodal terminal in Artem, Primorsky Krai.
One more terminal of RFE is expanding its capacity for handling of high-capacity containers. Double cantilever crane will have box girder portal capacity under spreader 45 t, bridge length about 50 m, stacking height 3+1. The crane will be equipped with a rotating trolley with effective anti sway system through foxed rope tower allowing crane and trolley travel as well as rotation without sway. Length of crane runway is 300 m. The crane will be equipped with a motorized cable drum. Frequency control drives will ensure smooth travel and significant energy saving. «Mechanisms and electronic integration ensure safety during fast cycles of handling” said P. Serykh head of design department. «Far East is an important region for Baltkran. We have been shipping and putting into operation complex crane equipment every year in Primorsky Krai, Sakhalin and Kamchatka for more than 10 years” said A.Ermolaev vice-president for sales. Baltrkan put into operation similar container crane in Vladivostok at the end of 2010: capacity 45 t under spreader, span 32m, two cantilevers 8 m each and a rotating trolley, stacking height 3+1. The crane is equipped with drives and mechanisms for quiet city operation.
